GDPR Awareness & GDPR Self-Audit Workshop

The day is split in to two parts as follows:
PART 1 – GDPR INFORMATION (9:15 to 12:30 AM)
We will help you with:
- gaining a solid working knowledge of the GDPR and what is involved;
- understanding your responsibilities as a Data Controller or Data Processor;
- knowing a Data Subject’s rights;
- working with privacy notices and information requirements;
- fulfilling security obligations, cross-border controls, data breach notifications and subject access requests; and,
- understanding the role of the Supervisory Authority – the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
PART 2 – GDPR SELF-AUDIT (1:15 to 4:15 PM)
Begin your journey to GDPR compliance with a do-it-yourself GDPR audit session which is really a discovery exercise around your current data processing activities!
Carrying out a GDPR audit will demonstrate that you take the requirements of the GDPR seriously, respect its objectives to apply freedom to privacy with regards to the protection of, and lawful processing of, a data subject’s personal data.
For the price of less than one (1) hour’s legal advice, you will have a legal support and technical support on hand to give you invaluable advice and guidance throughout the day.
We will provide you with GDPR Audit Prep Tasks to prepare you for the afternoon session. This will mainly consist of data discovery exercises. We will send these to you in advance. The sooner you book, the sooner you will receive these and be able to make the most of this offer. Bring the GDPR Audit Prep Tasks with you on the day and your laptop so you can work on the excel audit document that we will provide you with on the day.
We will also provide you with a suite of key template forms/ policies that you may adapt and use in your business worth £500 in template form only. These are:

After the event
Following the day, you will have the option to upload your completed audit document to CloudLegal whereupon a privacy practitioner will review and evaluate it and send you a report including a recommended schedule of GDPR compliance tasks for you to complete.
